How does the introduction of robots into an automobile factory illustrate the economic goal of efficiency?

History
1 answer:
melomori [17]3 years ago
4 0

Economic effiency is achieved when a company manages to obtain a certain level or production at a lower cost, or a larger amount of production at the same cost level as before.

In order to do so, the firm can either decrease the price it pays for the factors of production used in manufacturing (for example, decrease salaries or decrease the amount paid to suppliers etc.), which it not always possible, or introduce new technologies that optimize the production processes. The introduction of robots, will allow the firm to produce, in the same amount of time, a greater amount of units of its products and using an smaller labor force (cheaper in terms of factors used too). Therefore the firm will reach a higher level of efficiency and become more competitive when technological progress steps in the production processes.

On what basis did al-Qaeda most likely choose its first American bombing targets?
qaws [65]

Answer:

D. The targets were in Africa, which is not far from the Middle East.

Explanation:

The first attacks that al-Qaeda carried out against American targets took place in Africa. The most likely reason for this is the fact that Africa is not very far from the Middle East, and al-Qaeda is an organization based in the Middle East. Some examples of such attacks are the bombing of the U.S. embassy in Nairobi, Kenya and in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in 1998.

what happened to Texas in 1845? Give one argument against and one argument in favor of this decision.
arsen [322]
In 1845, the Republic of Texas was annexed to the United States of America, becoming the 28th U.S. state. Border disputes between the new state and Mexico, which had never recognized Texas independence and still considered the area a renegade Mexican state, led to the Mexican–American War (1846–1848).

I hope this helps!
