A. KBr dissociates (dissolves) when in water. So draw a solution with potassium ions and bromine ions. Since the potassium ion has a positive charge, the oxygen of H2O molecules (negative charge, because water molecules are polar) will be attracted towards the potassium ion with a positive charge. Also draw bromine ions (negative charge), with the hydrogen ends of water molecules attracted to it (because the hydrogen end of water molecules have a positive charge). Make sure the amount of potassium ions and bromine ions are equal because the ratio of potassium to bromine is 1:1

B. According to solubility rules, Br- is soluble with everything else except Ag 2+, Hg2 2+, and Pb 2+.SInce potassium is neither of the three, Br is soluble when with K.
