When glucose availability is limited, to protect itself from excessive muscle loss, the body decreases its need for glucose by u
Serjik [45]
The body has the ability to maintain balance or homeostasis and whenever there is something that depletes, the body also compensates. When the body does not have enough intake, this results in muscle loss. What the body does to prevent this is that, it uses an alternative energy source by using KETONES.

What explanation does this image tell about reproduction and variation?
Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

See the answer below

Explanation:

First, the image tells that chromosomes are made up of genes or that genes are located on chromosomes. It further showed that genes are translated as proteins in the cell and this protein respectively control the expression of traits.

Secondly, it also showed that during sexual reproduction, the offspring produced usually have the same proteins as the parent and therefore have exactly the same traits as the parent. Only one parent is needed for asexual reproduction.

However, two parents are needed for sexual reproduction where each parent donate chromosomes containing gene to the genome of their offpsring. The mixture of genes ensures that the offspring look different from the parent.

The image further showed that asexual reproduction does not lead to any variation while sexual reproduction leads to variation of the offpsring from their parents.
