Answer:

No they are not mutually exclusive

Explanation:

We have given that 35 % of the students have brown eyes

So n(A)=35 %

And 45 % of the student has brown hair

So n(B)=45 %

It is also given that 60 % of the student have both brown eyes and brown hair

So n(A\cup B)=60 %

From set rule we know that

n(A\cup B)=n(A)+n(B)-n(A\cap B)

So 60=45+35-n(A\cap B)

n(A\cap B)=20

So A and B will not be mutually exclusive because for A and B to be mutually exclusive n(A\cap B) must be zero

vladimir2022 [97]
This is false. Where these methods can help you feel better and less drunk, it takes 24 hours for alcohol to completely dissapear form your blood stream. Eating before drinking can also help to feel less drunk but it does not prevent the effects of alcohol once it is in your bloodstream.

The beginning of the Reconstruction period of American history is represented by which number?
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

The number representing the beginning of the Reconstruction is 10, mostly in reference to the Ten Percent Plan.

This was a programme annonced by President Abraham Lincoln before the end of the Civil War, in 1863.

This reconstruction plan would allow a Confederate state to form a new local government and be readmitted to the U.S. Congress if 10% of their citizens agreed to take an oath of loyalty to the Union. These 10% would also receive amnesty.

The Ten Percent Plan also suggested a transition from slavery to freedom for newly-freed black laborers by making them work for one year on Louisiana plantations, being paid $10 a month.
