Answer: I believe they understood the circumstances in Europe. Military Tech was improving quickly. All the countries had petty beef with each other. They wanted Europe to just chill the eff out. "Can everyone just please get along?" But it wasn't that simple. Once they saw exactly what Germany was doing in France and the military they had built up. It was time to act.

Answer:

most American understood That the war would cost American lives  ( B )

Explanation:

Most Americans understood that joining the world war 1 by sending their soldiers to fight would cost the lives of their soldiers ( American live ) because most American soldiers as at the time of world war 1 were not properly trained and used to using the modern war equipment being used by the Europeans. Nobody knew how long the war would last so most Americans did not understand that as well. the war could not be won by the US alone that was understood by all including the Germans and the British even Americans at large. they didn't understand how the war would help their economy either.

Who makes decisions to manage or regulate conflict in our society?

Answer: The federal government, the state government, the United States Congress with its two chambers(the House of Representatives and the Senate), and the judicial branch with all of its courts.

How are those "decision-makers" selected and by whom

Answer: United States citizens have the right to select the President of the United States and their representatives at the federal and state levels.  That is why they vote.

The leader of the United States is the President, who also is the chief of the executive branch and its cabinet. He is the most important decision-maker. At the state level, it is the governor. However, the US Congress and the state's congress also play a key roll in creating legislation.

Sixteenth- through nineteenth-century North American Indians most resisted European beliefs about ____
anastassius [24]

Answer:

(C) land ownership.

Explanation:

To have a land of their own was key for European settlers, since back in their homeland they were unable to do so (they were poor), and land ownership was equivalent to wealth. The more land a person owned, the more powerful and richer he was. Offering such dreamland was the premise for English companies to encourage potential settlers to travel to America.

On the opposite, North American Indians did not believe in land ownership. Everybody was free to own land to live and grow crops in it. They coexisted with nature and constantly moved from land to land, enabling it to recover from their farming activities.

These differences resulted in cruelty towards North American Indians, leading to armed conflicts between them and European settlers.

romanna [79]
Fire was discovered back when we were starting to develop back in the Neanderthal stage. We used a flint rock and a piece of steel and we found sparks but we were kinda monkey looking creatures that were hairy.
