Please I need so much help with both of these ToT
Hoochie [10]
The best answer for the first problem is that high elevations and high latitudes have similar effect on climate.
For the second problem... I'm not entirely certain, but I believe that location B would be warmer and drier. I don't know for sure, but that would make sense, right? Since it's out of the wind, it would be warmer, and less moisture would be blown over.

Why are tsunamis usually harmless in open water away from the shoreline?
iragen [17]
This is because I’d deep ocean, tsunami waves may appear only a foot or so high. But as they approach the shoreline and enter shallower water they slow down and begin to grow in energy and height.Since the tops of the waves move faster than the bottoms so it causes them to rise faster.So...if a tsunami is in deep waters it does not really hit the shore and splash around to hurt anyone or anything or any people. It is fine because it’s in the middle of the ocean and not on the shoreline.I hoped I helped even a little bit :3

In 10 > 4x + 2 which inequality represents the possible range of values of 9x + 4
Sliva [168]

Answer:

9x+4<22

Explanation:

Inequalities are solved in the same way as normal equations, we just need to start by isolating the x term on one side so we can solve for it on the other side, which we can do by doing the same thing to both sides to cancel out the other term and the coefficient:

10 -2 > 4x +2 -2

8 > 4x

8/4 > 4x/4

2 > x

This means x can be anything less than 2.

So now we can find the maximum value for the equation by substituting x:

9(2) + 4 = 22

That is the maximum value if x is 2, but because x has to be less than two, the possible range of values for 9x+4 will all be less than 22.

9x+4<22

Hope this helped!
