Answer:

Distance between the two jets is 239.708 miles.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given a jet is located 108 mi due east of a city and second jet is located 214 mi due north of the city .we need to find the distance between the two jets .

A right angle triangle with two legs as 108 miles and 214 miles is formed .We can find the distance between the two jets that is the hypotenuse of the right triangle  by using the Pythagoras Theorem ,c^{2} =a^{2} +b^{2}

where c is the hypotenuse and a and b are the two legs of the right triangle :

Substituting the values we have:

c^{2} =108^{2} +214^{2}

Or ,c^{2} =11664+45796

Or c^{2} =57460

Or c=239.708 miles.

If AFGH<br> AQRS, find the measure of Q.
irakobra [83]

Answer:

D. 28°

Step-by-step explanation:

Since ∆FGH is congruent to ∆QRS, it follows that:

m\angle F = m\angle Q

Thus:

2x + 10 = 3x + 1 (Substitution)

Collect like terms

2x - 3x = -10 + 1

-x = -9

Divide both sides by -1

x = 9

\angle Q = 3x + 1

Plug in the value of x

\angle Q = 3(9) + 1

\angle Q = 28 degrees

Dafna1 [17]

Answer:

g(x)=2x^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiplying by a constant will stretch the graph as shown. The graph of g(x) appears to pass through (1,2), so g(x)=2x^2 is a reasonable guess (I can't see the answer choices).
