3 0

Answer:

y=-2x+6

Step-by-step explanation:

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

m=(-8-0)/(7-3)

m=-8/4

m=-2

y-0=-2(x-3)

y=-2(x-3)+0

y=-2(x-3)

y=-2x+6

Given the statement -12 ≤ -15, which of the following is correct? It is a false statement, because -12 is not equal to -15. It i
laiz [17]

The given statement is a false statement because -12 is not equal to -15 and also -15 is less than -12 which are correct answers would be Options (A) and (D).

What is inequality?

Inequality is defined as mathematical statements that have a minimum of two terms containing variables or numbers that are not equal.

The given statement as:

⇒ -12 ≤ -15

Since -12 and -15 are not equal and -15 is smaller than -12, the preceding statement is incorrect.

So the following statements are correct:

It is a false statement because -12 is not equal to -15.

It is a false statement because -15 is less than -12.

Hence, the given statement is a false statement because -12 is not equal to -15 and also -15 is less than -12 which are correct answers would be Options (A) and (D).

Prove 2/sqrt3cosx+sinx=sec(pi/6-x)
dlinn [17]

Thus L.H.S = R.H.S that is 2/√3cosx + sinx  = sec(Π/6-x) is proved

We have to prove that

2/√3cosx + sinx  = sec(Π/6-x)

To prove this we will solve the right-hand side of the equation which is

R.H.S = sec(Π/6-x)

          = 1/cos(Π/6-x)

[As secƟ = 1/cosƟ)

           = 1/[cos Π/6cosx + sin Π/6sinx]

[As cos (X-Y) = cosXcosY + sinXsinY , which is a trigonometry identity where X = Π/6 and Y = x]

           = 1/[√3/2cosx + 1/2sinx]

            = 1/(√3cosx + sinx]/2

            = 2/√3cosx + sinx

    R.H.S = L.H.S

Hence 2/√3cosx + sinx  = sec(Π/6-x) is proved

A store pays $10 for a blanket, and the markup is 115%. A customer will also pay a 5 1/2% sales tax. What will be the total cost
Naddik [55]
Firstly, we need to find the price of the blanket/bracelet after the 115% increase.
     $10 x 1.15 = $15.20

Now for the 5.5% sales tax, which is applied the the new value of $15.20
     $15.20 x 0.055 = 0.83
     $15.20 + $0.83 = $16.03

The final cost for the blanket/bracelet is %16.03
