Why was the land war more difficult for the United States than the war at sea

History

I'm not sure what era of wars you're referring to, but I can give you a fairly general answer.
War on land tends to be more difficult due to the terrain. There are mountains and valleys, soldiers have to walk great distances to get to their destination if their vehicles cannot handle the landscape, and there's always the possibility of guerrilla warfare (hiding in the bushes, attacking and running away) from the other army.
While war at sea can be treacherous, it also lends itself to finding the target easier. Water tends to try to remain level, so there aren't any hills or valleys to contend with, and a telescope can see for miles on the open sea.
If you can give a specific war you're referring to, I could try and give you a more specific answer.

Hope this helps.

Answer:

The first answer was given by Youngsavytho

"Pakistan's natural resources range from natural gas reserves, vast land, coal, petroleum, copper, salt and iron ore among others. It has the second largest salt mines in the world, as well as world’s fifth largest gold mines. It is one of the largest producers of wheat in the world and is the seventh country in the world with nuclear power."

The second question

Oil and natural gas, like coal, are nonrenewable resources.

The third question

Fruit and chemicals. Definitely aircraft and motor parts, because half the the Pakistans' economy depends on tourism. Medicines would also be a must have for sick or injured tourists.

The fourth and fith question is given by kelleyhaley19

"Some of the major industries in the bahamas are oil-refining, cement-making, salt production, and trans-shipment. This can be a risk to the environment, because if any of the oil reaches the ocean, it could destroy wildlife. Also, and chemicals or materials used would be harmful to the tropical environment."

The sixth question

Even though Pakistan and the U.S. are drastically different in size. Pakistan holds an equally diverse land in terms of terrain and climate. Pakistan, being comparatively tiny, has more diverse land packed in. For every 10 km, you experience a different culture. That is not possible in the U.S.

The final question

The opportunities that the Pakistan could have to increase its diversification could be by: exporting business, major convention facilities, boat and ship building, and marine biology and fisheries science are a few things that could help the Pakistans diversify themselves.

Which statement from the Declaration of Independence1 best reflects the Enlightenment idea of the social contract?
Scrat [10]
The answer is B. The founding fathers were all strongly influenced by enlightened thinkers and philosophers of the time when drafting the Declaration of Independence. One particular philosopher was John Locke, who wrote in his work that the natural rights of man include "life, liberty, and property" and these natural rights should not be given up the citizen in the face of the government. "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" is extremely similar Locke's notion of the Social Contract.
