- -Find a good book for the beginning of school
* -Tigers curse, ink heart, the novice, lost in time
1. First day of reading is the most important day if you can’t get hooked in the book you won’t want to pick it back up read at least 15-20 pages before putting it down.

2. If your a slow reader try to at least read a half a chapter a day

3. If you are having a hard time staying hooked in your book look for details that you can relate to in real life (ex: as I walked threw the quite hallways of my school I can hear the slight squeaking of my boots against the floor) or if that’s not your style draw one of the sceneries from the book

4. At the end of the book, one of my personal favorite things to do is to write a alternate ending especially if I didn’t like ending of the book.

Answer:

13, 14, and 15 first for some reasons lol!

13.The text structure of this paragraph. The main idea of this paragraph is mimic octopus and the facts are it can change it's color also its shape and behavior. It is able to imitate 15 different species and this paragraph is a sequence.

14.He wants to wait because he has been doing school eight hours straight also he needs to clean he's room and take Boomer for a walk. Also, he feels that he is tired because he has been doing school for eight hours straight so that makes him tired so he needs to take a break so later he can do homework and be more focused.

15.I think because most authors come from different childhoods and stuff like that. Also, if they come from different backgrounds the might take a facts different and some sad facts might hurt them a lot because they come from a family or a background that is all full of joy then when they hear something really sad it could hurt them. Authors write very different stories (that might write sad stories cause they had a sad child hood so the take facts and stuff differently) some use the sad events to make a good story. Some authors use happy events. That how I think that different authors might interpret facts in multiple ways.

Hope this helps :)))

16.Read paragraphs 12–14 individually, and write a paragraph explaining how McGonigal expands her initial claim in this section.
olasank [31]

According to paragraphs 12 - 14 of the text "Reality Is Broken: Why Games

Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World (Part One)" by Jane McGonigal, PhD, McGonigal expatiates on the initial claim by providing very strong evidence by way of statistics.

What is McGonigal's Initial Claim?

The above writer's initial claim as enumerated in the first paragraph, though a simple sentence, is that Gamers no longer find reality interesting hence, they are moving to virtual reality through games.

The textual evidence for this is given below:

"Gamers have had enough of reality"

What is a claim?

A claim is a bundle of operational facts that creates a legal right that may be enforced in court.

Although certain situations favor one of the expressions over the other, the term claim is typically equivalent with the phrase cause of action.

CAN SOMONE PLEASE HELP ME I NEVER ASK QUESTIONS ILL GIVE U ANYTHING
Sophie [7]
I can't help you with the answer as I haven't read the book. I can help you get to your own answer, though.

For question 5, think about how the book ended. What do you think will happen to the main character now? Think of the resolution as the "happy ending" where the big problem or conflict is solved. Include the quotations and parts of the book that helped you figure out what is going to happen to the main character.

Question 7 is asking you about the book's theme. Basically, it's asking what the moral or lesson of the story is. Does the story teach you about anything?
