Explanation: During the era of face to face protest we enjoyed massive success in most of the movements.

The advent of social media use in movements have led to a whole lot of reduction on how effective the protest are. One of the negative impact is that political actors will end up hijacking the process from the real activist and most times abandon the movement because they are not really there to effect any change but to carry out their pay masters wish.
