8 batteries would cost $13.84.

How I got my answer:
Step 1: I did 10.38 divided by 6. Then, I got 1.73
Step 2: I multiplied 1.73 times 8. Then, I got 13.84
So my answer would be 8 batteries would cost $13.84

Hope this helps!!! :) Pls mark me brainliest!! :)

To get the answer you should solve the following equation:
\frac{6}{8}=\frac{10.38}{x}
\frac{3}{4}=\frac{10.38}{x}
x=\frac{4*10.38}{3}=\frac{41.52}{3}=13.84

So, the 8 batteries cost $13.84.

Isabella drives at a constant 45 miles per hour is she drives for why miles and it takes her X hours what is the two variable eq
USPshnik [31]

Answer:

Required two variable relation is 45x =y

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed of isabella car is v = 45 miles per hour

now, According to question she takes Y miles( = distance) in X hours (= time)

from The relation of velocity i.e.

velocity = \frac{distance}{time }

on substituting the values in the above relation we get,

v = 45 = \frac{y}{x}

on further rearranging of terms we get,

45x = y

HENCE, required relation is 45x =y , which is a two variable equation.

A girl wants to count the steps of a moving escalator which is going up if she is going up she counts 60 steps if she is going d
Lapatulllka [165]
Hello,

Let's assume t the time for counting one step
V the girl velocity in t
v the escalator velocity in t
d the length to go upstairs

going up: V*60+v*60=d
walking down: V*90-v*90=d

so
V+v=d/60
V-v=d/90
2V=d*5/180
V=d*5/360
V=d/72
V*72=d The girl must count to 72 steps.(here v=0)

Which is the 23rd term of the arithmetic series 5, 16, 27, ...? (3
timofeeve [1]
An arithmetic series is a pattern of a series of numbers with same difference. First, let's find the difference:

16 -5 = 11
27- 16 = 11

So, the arithmetic series is obtained by adding 11 to every previous number. The formula for an arithmetic series is

An = A1 + (n - 1)d

where An is the nth term in the series, A1 is the 1st term in the series, n is the number of terms in the series and d is the difference. Hence,

A23 = 5 + (23 -1)11
A23 = 5 + 11(22)
A23 = 247

Thus, the 23rd term is 247.

Answer:

D. 68+(6x+4)=180

x = 18

Step-by-step explanation:

"Supplementary angles" are angles that add up to 180°

So we add the twi angles 68+(6x+4) and that equals to 180°.

68 + 6x + 4 = 180

add 68 and 4

72 + 6x = 180

subtract 72.

6x = 108

divide by 6.

x = 18
