Answer:

Europeans who lived in the spanish colonies of latin american were called peninsulares, which means, people from the peninsula, because Spain is part of the Iberian Peninsula.

They represented the highest class and the top positions in government and the army were usually reserved for them. They were not very numerous though.

Americans by bith who were direct descendants were called criollos. They constituted the majority of the economic elite in all spanish colonies, but were still below their european cousins. They were the group that led the independence revolutions in the nineteenth century.

How does Obama define the American Dream?
abruzzese [7]

Answer:

Barack Obama defines the American dream as the idea that anyone who lives in the United States can achieve success, through hard work, determination, and rise from the very beginning, regardless of his/her origin, race, financial situation, etc.

Explanation:

Obama's figure is the best example of his vision of the American dream, as he came from a humble family and became the first Afro-American president of the USA.

He highlights the opportunity, considering that all citizens should have equal rights and be able to get rich and successful. The most important thing is to give an opportunity to everybody.

To achieve the American dream society should create equal opportunities for everyone, people should open to each other and appreciate cooperative efforts rather than individual efforts.

Why did stalin suffer from a sense of inferiority
irakobra [83]
Stalin suffered a sense of inferiority because he suffered severe scarring from a serious childhood disease. The scarring on his face was due to the disease of small pox that happened to him at the age of 7. He was also born with two adjoined toes in his left foot. His left arm also was a bit shorter than his right arm because of an accident that he suffered at the age of 12.
