Answer:

Explanation:

Given data:

net income $55 000

Gain $40,000

PATHLON SHARE IN SOPTERON 30%

according to Wquity method, the increase in investment can be determined as following

increase in investment = share of net income - dividend

putting all value to get increase in investment value

increase in investment = 55000\times 30% - 0

                                       = 55000\times 0.30

Bezzdna [24]

Answer: $13,680,000

Explanation:

Given that,

Appropriation received(Budget) = $15,000,000

(a) purchase orders = $650,000

(b) purchase orders, related to (a) = $640,000

   Related Invoice amount = $635,000

Invoices were paid in the amount = $620,000

(c) salaries accrued and paid(Payroll) = $675,000

Balance available for the fire department as of July 31, 2017:

= Budget - purchase orders(debit) + purchase orders(credit) - (Invoice payment) - payroll(expenditure)

= $15,000,000 - $650,000 + $640,000 - ($15,000 + $620,000) - $675,000

= $13,680,000

In the EOQ model, the average inventory per cycle over many cycles is Q/2. A. True B. False
GuDViN [60]

Answer:

A. True

Explanation:

An organization would usually measure the volume of its orders in order to meet up with demand while also making sure that the cost per order is maintained at the nearest minimum. The tool used to measure the volume of frequent orders is Economic order quantity(EOQ) .

When inventories are ordered, there will be continuous movement of inventory say from Q(order amount) to zero. This means that the average inventory is Q ÷ 2. Also, the inventory costs for each period is the same as average cost(Q/2) multiply by length of the period.
