Answer:

The Spanish were the first to reach America. They developed missionaries and opened mines of gold and silver. Their main reason for settlement in the New World was to generate wealth for their Empire(Spain).

The English came America to settle here, they build homes and churches, soon started cultivating crops, did trade. Most of the settlers came to start a new life away from war and unrest in Europe.

French came to trade with the Natives. They brought Protestantism and catholic in North America.

The Dutch settlers remained in the coastal region and built forts, From there they did trading with the Indians.

Did most European rules supported or not support established church's in 1500s?
klio [65]
When it came to the early 1500's, there was no separation of church and state. The king was always kept in check by the church. Although everybody in the kingdoms answered to the kings, the kings answered to God. All the rules that were put in place were done so in respect of the church's commandments, keeping in mind what God wanted the people to do.
