Answer:

proteins are made in the cell cytoplasm on tiny structures called ribosomes,to make proteins ribosomes use a code in the DNA

DNA is found in the cells nucleus and cannot move ,so the cell needs to get the code from the DNA to the ribosome this is done using a molecule called RNA (mRAN) - which is made by copying the code from DNA  , the RNA acts as a messenger between the DNA  and the ribosome - it carries the code between the two

A population of cheetahs has a birth rate of 5 and a death rate of 15. Immigration is 2, and emigration is 4. What is its popula
kirill115 [55]
Since the death rate is higher than the birth rate we can assume that it will be negative. 5-15 is -10 for their life. immigration is also lower than the emigration. 2-4 is -2. adding -2 and -10 will give us -12, hope this helps.

Photosynthesis has oxygen as a waste product. what is the waste product during cellular respiration
zubka84 [21]

Answer:

carbon dioxide, water, ATP

Explanation:

the equations for photosynthesis and cellular respiration are exact opposites. The reactants for photosynthesis are the products for respiration.

<u>photosynthesis:</u>

6CO₂ + 6H₂O + ATP (energy) ---> C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂

<u>respiration:</u>

C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂ ---> 6CO₂ + 6H₂O + ATP

Why the rainforest in Costa Rica is not rich with plants? Remember to use scientific language
Troyanec [42]

Answer:

Deforestation is the major problem causing lack of rich species in Costa Rica. This is due to over grazing by cattle.This may lead to flooding which affect fertility of the soil.These animals graze on  the plants without regulations,and cause erosion as their hoofs percolate the soil,  further reducing soil fertility.

In addition to sustain the beef production,  trees were fell to for cattle ranching.This ultimately contributed to loss of the forest species.

Banana plantation is an  additional factor.Forest were cleared to cultivate banana, which affects forest population.
