In the story, Antigone, the protagonist, develops as a result of her statements regarding the death of her brother. She speaks to her sister about burying their brother who was dishonored by Creon, which is how the author develops and introduces the characters to the audience.

The statement above is true. Characterization in the Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is a too broad for a topic for a critical essay. A critical essay offers analytic topics and evaluation of it. It makes the reader or audience the chance to critically think about the topic which should be very specific.
