In what way did Carnegie’s “gospel of wealth” challenge social Darwinism?
Mila [183]

Answer:

Carnegie's gospel of wealth said that wealthy and rich people are innately better than the rest. He also stated that the rich people have a responsibility over the poor and needy.

Explanation:

Carnegie believed that wealthy people are better survivors than the poor and needy. People who were poor and less privileged were intellectually incapable to come at par with the wealthy.

It was a moral duty for the wealthy to help the ones in need. It was their obligation to help those who suffer because they do not have the resources.
