The US troops faced brutal conditions during the Spanish American War. They were unaccustomed to battle of this kind, taking place largely in jungles and heavily forested, humid areas, such as Cuba and the Phillipines. Many Americans died of disease, and there was a learning curve to adapt their tactics to the terrain.

In the end, the outcome was still victory, mainly due to the fact that the United States generally had the support of the local peoples in each theatre, and had a stronger supply line, due both to a stronger navy and, in the case of the Caribbean theater, much closer proximity to the campaigns.

Important facts about the mughol empire?
julia-pushkina [17]

Answer:

The Mughal (or Mogul) Empire ruled most of India and Pakistan in the 16th and 17th centuries. It consolidated Islam in South Asia, and spread Muslim (and particularly Persian) arts and culture as well as the faith. The Mughals were Muslims who ruled a country with a large Hindu majority.

The Mughal Empire was important for bringing almost the entire Indian subcontinent under one domain, drawing the subcontinent's regions together through enhanced overland and coastal trading networks. It was also known for its cultural influence and its architectural achievements (most famously, the Taj Mahal).
