The Industrial Revolution was a very significant event for Europe, as well as the whole world. During this time period, many countries developed significantly, and factories increased in number. This led to a rise in the number of urban workers. It also led to some problems such as poverty and inequality.

The problems of the Industrial Revolution were dealt with in two different ways by various countries. The first way was by passing social and labor reforms in places like Great Britain. This method advocated small, slow change that benefitted workers and changed the system slowly. Although this was a slow process, and it generally did not lead to massive changes, it had the advantage of being more stable. It also reduced the risk of rebellions, chaos and revolution.

The second approach was the implementation of new economic systems such as socialism and communism. The main difference in this case was the fact that change was extremely large and quick. This benefitted a much larger number of workers in a much deeper way. However, this system was only implemented through revolutions and bloodshed, and did not prove to be long-lasting.

Answer:

Explanation:

As an event, the Industrial Revolution had both positive and negative impacts for society. Although there are several positives to the Industrial Revolution there were also many negative elements, including: poor working conditions, poor living conditions, low wages, child labor, and pollution. The main positive factor of the Industrial Revolution was that it led to the improved quality of life for people today. This improvement can be seen in our modern access to many different types of mass produced goods. A main feature of the Industrial Revolution was that it introduced the factory system. The major disadvantages were largely social. The Industrial Revolution brought huge numbers of people out of the countryside and into big cities to work in factories. Their jobs were often dangerous and did not pay much. They lived in very poor housing conditions.
