<h3><u>What is Feminism?</u></h3>
  • Our mission is to advance and defend the rights of all women and girls.
  • Our mission is to achieve gender equality for all people, and we are pursuing this goal through program partnerships, the development of movements throughout Asia-Pacific, and advocacy, research, and policy initiatives in Australia, the Asia-Pacific, and throughout the world. Not only do we address women's rights, but other international development organizations do as well.
  • However, we are the only ones doing it from a distinctly feminist perspective. For a million people, feminism means a million different things.
  • While we are not in the business of outlining the finer points of anyone else's feminism, we do wish to make the fundamentals clear.
  • It involves valuing the different experiences, identities, skills, and strengths of women and working to ensure that every woman has the opportunity to exercise all of her legal rights.
