The correct answer is using a combination of humility and humor.

Explanation: This would be a way to show that the event is special, it will also make the audience feel special. In this sense, this type of introduction helps people to feel closer to the speakers because it is easier to connect with someone who seems grateful.

Why were nobles and priests important to ancient Egypt ?
fredd [130]
Nobles in Egyptian society were related to the pharaoh, priests, scribes, doctors, lawyers, or important military personnel. Many of the nobles were overseers of the lands worked by peasants. Taxes from these lands were paid to the government in the form of crops or cattle. These crops in turn were used to pay skilled workers and peasants for their labor on governmental project. Ancient Egyptian temples and shrines were very sacred places. Only special people were allowed into the temples: the priests, priestesses and pharaohs. The Pharaoh was revered as the head of the priesthood. Second only to the Pharaoh was the High Priest who carried out the Pharaoh’s religious duties. Priests were rich and powerful, and were ranked with the officers of the state. Priests had many special privileges. They were called by special names, wore special clothing and were allowed to "see" the gods. In ancient Egypt, most priests married and had families.

Readme [11.4K]

Answer:

A) a negative emotion or a negative state or arousal

Explanation:

In psychology, cognitive dissonance happens when a person holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values, or participates in an action that goes against one of these, either his believes, ideas or values, and experiences psychological stress because of that. According to this theory, when two actions or ideas are not consistent with each other, people do all in their power to change them until they become consistent psychologically.

The discomfort is triggered by the person's belief clashing with new information perceived, wherein they try to find a way to resolve the contradiction to reduce their discomfort.

Feeling uncomfortable when one act in a way that is against his or her believe and hence stress themselves over the actions is cognitive dissonance.

How do you summarize what you wrote in 4 paragraphs

i need help :/
Alborosie

Answer:

To summarize, you must read a passage closely, finding the main ideas and supporting ideas. Then you must briefly write down those ideas in a few sentences or a paragraph. It is important to understand the difference between a summary and a paraphrase. A paraphrase is simply a rewriting of a passage in your own words. The four-paragraph essay consists of an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Each paragraph in the essay requires specific information in order for readers to follow a logical flow of information. Write a paragraph to serve as an introduction for your essay.
