4. For example

5. D) I am seeking employment that will allow me to explore my horticulture interests.

6. D) Archaeologists complete detailed procedures in the laboratory to scrutinize collected objects.

Explanation:

1. In this example, options A to C are negative or demotivating. Option D is the only one that will prove useful to the staff.

2. A spreadsheet is the document that would help Darcie the most. Spreadsheets are often used when recording transactions. It is also particularly useful for transactions that need to be reported regularly.

3. News coverage are always biased, whether they try to avoid it or not. This is because the organizations that report have their own prejudices and assumptions that translate to the coverage. Therefore, this would be the main difference between the news source's coverage and the speech transcript.

4. The right word to employ is "for example," because the following statement illustrates the claim.

5. This is the best way to change the tone from this sentence from informal to formal. The revision avoids the use of contractions, expresses clearer ideas and employs more complex words.

6. This is the answer that provides the least amount of evidence. In your original claim, the two reasons given were to work outside and to travel. However, option D does not mention either one of these passions.

Essay: A remarkable place<br> Please help me on my essay
Vlad [161]

Answer:

One Day I went to a place which I quite didn't like at first because there were so many bugs and all, But then after spending some time I realized how beautiful the place was.. It was a garden (you can name it) Filled with flowers, trees, birds, lakes, stones and nature there was no dirtiness which was the best part. Birds were chirping so loud that I could hear them from a long distance. I even saw some frogs. I got scared at first but then realized they were my friends. Just as I was making a necklace out of the flowers for my mom I saw a deer I was fascinated I had never seen one before. But before I could click a picture it ran off. The water was clean and really cold I could feel the cold temperature when my legs went inside the water. There were many fishes. The butterflies were roaming around. Some birds were coming and picking up the fishes, going back to their nests and giving them to their children or eating the fishes themselves. It rained a little bit but then it was all fine. The weather got more pleasant, seeing the flowers in the wind was peaceful. I just slept on the green grass which was a little wet and rested until the birds woke me, must be their evening chirping-session. All was the same, flowers, trees, insects, frogs and the breeze. I can just say it was a remarkable place.

Where did the construction materials for the colonization of Mars come from? (Question from "Feburary 2003: Interim".)
VLD [36.1K]

Answer:

concrete

Explanation:

Researchers think regolith on Mars could serve as a replacement for concrete components. The Mars rovers have used gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, and laser spectrometry to determine the composition of martian soil. Mars regolith is mostly silicon dioxide and ferric oxide, with a fair amount of aluminum oxide, calcium oxide, and sulfur oxide. The composition varies from place to place on the planet’s surface because of variability in asteroid collisions and the weathering by wind and water, in ancient oceans and in some modern water flows. But no spacecraft has returned to Earth with actual samples of the material.
