Many say that North Vietnam won. The reason being is that the U.S pulled out in order to avoid further military losses and also to prevent the president to gain unpopularity in which many Americas were against the war. The Americans have been considered to have loss because they formed a "truce" but never a official "peace" with North Vietnam and instead abandomed South Vietnam and slipped away from the conflict.
