District Court means the highest court in a District and for every district, there is only one district court. while in a district, there are many trial courts… a civil suit is tried by civil judge junior division, civil judge senior division.

District court is a court of both revision and trial and as well as of appeal. Matrimonial Suits can only be tried by district courts again a civil or criminal revision can also lie before it. Moreover, its also a court of appeal.
