Answer:

a) z=5w-3

we have w, so we multiply it by 5 to make it 5w

and then we subtract 3 to make it 5w-3

w⇒ ×5 ⇒ -3 ⇒ z

b) x⇒ +2 = x+2

Now × 7 makes it 7(x+2)

so y=7(x+2)

Jarrett's puppy weighted 3 3 3/4 ounce at birth.at 1 week old he weighted 5 1/8 ounces.if his weight gain countiues in the patte
Arte-miy333 [17]
First in order to find the pattern, you need to find the number of pounds that the puppy gained from birth to a week after birth.
5 1/8 - 3 3/4=5 1/8 - 3 6/8=4 9/8 - 3 6/8=1 3/8 pounds gained
(1 3/8)(3)=(11/8)(3/1)=33/8=4 1/8 pounds gained
4 1/8 + 3 3/4=4 1/8 + 3 6/8=7 7/8 pounds at week 3

What is the value of y in the parallelogram below?
108
O A. 24
O c. 69
O D. 36
My name is Ann [436]

Answer:

(A) y = 24

Step-by-step explanation:

Given GDEF is a parallelogram and m∠E = 108°

To find: value of y

In ║grm GDEF,

m∠D + m∠E = 180°   (Consecutive angles of parallelogram are supplementary)

3y° + 108° = 180°

3y° = 180° - 108°

3y° = 72°

y = 72°/3 = 24°

Therefore, option (A) is the correct answer.

Find the volume of a cylinder if the radius is 8cm and the height is 15cm?
saul85 [17]

Answer:

3015.92894745 cm^3

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula for volume of cylinder(v)= πr^2h

Here,

r=8 cm

h=15cm

Now,

V=πr^2h=π8^2*15=π64*15=960π=3015.92894745 cm^3

A sheet metal manufacturer is making 10-gauge sheet metal, which is supposed to be 3.416 mm thick. One of the pieces of manufact
satela [25.4K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to evaluate if thickness of a 10 gauge metal sheet is a requiered in the process that means 3.416 mm thick. So that should be our null hypothesis; μ₀ = 3.416 and based on sample data, we will formulate an alternative hypothesis taking into account the mean, and standard deviation obtained. We surely will have better information to take a decision
