 The distributive property
multiplying a sum by a number is the same as multiplying each addend by the number and then adding the products

8x45= 360
8x40=320
8x5=40
8x40 + 8x5 = 360

Which statement about 5 multiplied by 1/8 must be true?
Kipish [7]

Answer:

The product is less than 1.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since 5\times \frac{1}{8} = \frac{5}{1}\times \frac{1}{8}=\frac{5}{8}

and \frac{5}{8}= 0.625

which is less than 1, therefore we can say that the product is less than 1.

Which correctly solves the inequality t+18<43 Select one: a. t<25 b. t>61 c. t>25 d. t<61
Naddik [55]

For this case we must solve the following inequality, finding the values for the variable "t":

t + 18

We subtract 18 from both sides of the inequality:

t + 18-18

Thus, the variable "t" is defined for all strict lower values than 25.

Answer:

t
