the main reason why they wrote the Constitution was because of slavery they wanted everything to be Fair which had lots of irony behind it because it ended up turning into a huge War. the 13th and 14th Amendment were in favor of the slaves which granted them freedom and the right to vote.

They wanted everything to be fair so the wrote the constitution. That eventually led to the Civil War between the North and South.
