We are given to find

the experimental probability that a 10th-grade student chosen at random has at least one, but no more than two, siblings

we know that

probability = ( number of favourable outcomes)/ ( total possible outcomes)

a 10th-grade student chosen at random has at least one, but no more than two, siblings

so, there can be one or two siblings

so, total number of such students =18+10=28

Number of favourable outcomes =28

total number of students =4+18+10+8=40

so, total favourable outcomes =40

now, we can find probability

p=\frac{28}{40}

p=\frac{28}{40}\times 100

p=70

So,

the experimental probability is 70%...........Answer

10m3 of air weigh 13 kg. Chapter Reference c How much does the air weigh in a room 4.2m long, 3.5m wide, and 2.6m high?
Zarrin [17]

Answer:

The air weight in a room is 49.69 kg.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that the room is 4.2m long, 3.5m wide, and 2.6m high. It is also given that 10 m³ of air weigh 13 kg.

The formula to find the volume of cuboid is,

V=l\times b\times h

V=4.2\times 3.5\times 2.6

V=38.22

The volume of room is 38.22 m³.

Since it is given that, 10 m³ of air weigh 13 kg. So,

1 m^3=\frac{13}{10}kg

1 m^3=1.3kg

So the air weight in the room is,

\text{Air weight}=1.3\times 38.22

\text{Air weight}=49.686\approx 49.69

Therefore the air weight in a room is 49.69 kg.

Let f(x)=−log(4x)+5.
Aloiza [94]
To solve the average rate of change, use the formula of the slope:
m = ( y2 - y1 ) / ( x2 - x1 )
but first we must solve the value of the function when x = 3

f(3) = - log ( 4 * 3 ) + 5
f (3) = 3.92

solve the function when x = 8
f(8) = - log ( 4 * 8) + 5
f(8) = 3.49

so the average rate of change
m = ( 3.49 - 3.92 ) / ( 8 - 3)
m = - 0.09

The hypotenuse of a right triangle is 89 meters long. One leg of the triangle is 39 meters long. What is the length of the other
Hitman42 [59]
A²+b²=c²
39²+b²=89²
1521+b²=7921
subtract 1521 from both sides
b²=6400
so then you square both sides
√6400
