The number of Canadian dollars which are paid in exchange for 1 US dollar increases from around 0.98 in October, until reaching approximately 1.03 in March.

Actually, it has not been a sustained increase as, between November and February, the value of the US dollar has slightly decreased. Anyway, the <u>global result of the whole period is the appreaciation of the US dollar versus the Canadian currency. </u>
