Answer:

This is a Latent Function.

Explanation:

The initial premise of Robert Merton's sociology is that in a society the existence of cultural elements and social practices play a decisive role in people's lives. However, he notes that while recognizing the importance of customs and feelings as a function, it is not the same for all groups, that is, the function is not unilateral. Merton focused his analysis on social life toward the functions performed by institutions, starting from the concept of latent function and manifest function.

Latent functions are not intentional, but unconscious, concealing interests that are not clearly manifested. In other words, it may be the unintended and unrecognized consequence of an element of society.

In many countries, children are becoming overweight and unhealthy. Some people think that the government has the responsibility
weqwewe [10]

In recent years, people especially children have to deal with many dangerous health problem, such as overweight, poor resistance,… Although there are some people believe that the government should take full responsibility for this problem, I think that parents and school also play very vital role in creating the issue.

<h3>What is overweight?</h3>

More body fat than is ideal for health is what is meant by being overweight or fat. In areas with ample food options and inactive lifestyles, being overweight is extremely prevalent.

With more than 1 billion adults in the world being either overweight or obese as of 2003, excess weight had reached epidemic levels. Over 2 billion people were affected in 2013. For all age categories, there have been increases.

A healthy body needs a minimum amount of fat for the proper operation of the hormonal, reproductive, and immune systems, as thermal insulation, as shock absorption for sensitive areas, and as energy for future use. However, the buildup of excessive storage fat can limit movement and flexibility and change the way the body looks.
