Why does President George W. Bush state that he cannot allow the auto industry to collapse? Companies should never be allowed to

collapse. The collapse of a major industry would make the recession worse. Allowing the car industry to collapse would slow consumer spending.

Answer:

Companies should never be allowed to collapse.

Explanation:

One sounds too greedy and the other sounds too optimistic. A president can't provide for every company to never fail.

Anon25 [30]
"Scare" comes from the fact that many people were scared that communism would come to the United States. There were two Red Scare periods. The first occurred after World War I and the Russian Revolution. The second occurred during the Cold War after World War II. It was considered a threat with the Russian Revolution and the Chinese civil war during WW2 brought that threat to the forefront. Communism was always a threat to capitalist governments due to it being the exact opposite of what capitalism stands for Post Script. McCarthy was a Republican senator from Wisconsin and was the leader behind the ethos of McCarthyism. How did whites gain control of some Chute-pa-lu? To what extent did conflicting concepts of land ownership divide the Chute-pa-l
Arturiano [62]

The whites gained the control of Chutepalu when they invited the chiefs that the tribe had to a meeting with the council and then they promised them that they would have their own country if only they signed a treaty that would have them to give up their lands.

How the Chute-Pa-lu lost their lands

In the year 1877, one of the chiefs had refused that they would relinquish their lands to the white people in the area. This was met by a fight were he was defeated by the white people. He and his people were then moved to Fort Leavenworth from there to Baxter Springs, Kansas, and finally to Indian Territory

Hence we can say that The whites gained the control of Chute-pa-lu when they invited the chiefs that the tribe had to a meeting with the council and then they promised them that they would have their own country if only they signed a treaty that would have them to give up their lands.

According to McGuire, why did he suggest the first Monday in September as an ideal date for such a public celebration?
Kipish [7]

According to McGuire, the first Monday in September is an ideal date for such a public celebration due to optimum weather and the date's location on the calendar, sitting midway between the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving public holidays.

Labor Day picnics and other public gatherings featured speeches by prominent labor leaders on a regular basis.

The Sunday preceding Labor Day was designated as "Labor Sunday" by the American Federation of Labor convention in 1909, to be dedicated to the spiritual and educational aspects of the labor movement.

Although some churches continue to recognize it, this secondary date has not gained much traction in popular culture.
