How did ww2 affect american farming
guajiro [1.7K]

Hello,

As the war approached, it got worse for farmer... The United States responded. First, the U.S. decided to send its destroyers to hunt the U-Boats and keep shipping lanes open. Hormel had introduced the canned meat product Spam in the 1930s. It proved to be an ideal combat ration because it could be shipped easily and wouldn't spoil for long periods of time. Soldiers could fight only as long as they had food to fuel their bodies. So, farmers were exhorted to produce even more.

Use the term synagogue, sabbath, and kosher to describe traditional jewish practices.
expeople1 [14]
A synagogue is a place of Jewish worship, where Jews congregate and see their rabbi and practice the laws of the Torah. Sabbath, or Shabbat, is a weekly practice of rest that starts Friday at sundown and ends Saturday evening. During Shabbat, Jews light candles and observe the rest that G-d took on the seventh day of creating the world.

Kosher is a form of religious dietary restriction that Jews practice. It includes not mixing meats and milk, and not eating animals that have split hooves.
