What will be the approximate volume when the temperature is at 900k
Evgen [1.6K]
In order to determine the volume at a given temperature, you may apply Charle's law, which states that for a fixed mass of gas held at constant pressure, the temperature and volume of the gas are directly proportional. Mathematically, this is:

V / T = constant

Therefore, if the initial volume and temperature are known, we may determine the final volume at 900 K.

Scientists theorize that Australia was once part of a larger mainland area but due to plate tectonics, broke away. According to
Greeley [361]

A large assortment of plant dispersal mechanisms.

Explanation:

Pretty much everything can be explained about Australia, as to where it was in the past, with which other large landmasses it was connected, its flora, its isolation from the other continents... One thing that still needs explaining is the large assortment of plant dispersal mechanisms, which is not typical for well established islands.

The reason as to why this is weird and hard to explain is because the well established islands have flora that is well adapted to their living conditions, and also it lacks competition from outside. In other words, they rule the place. The plants in Australia though exhibit dispersal mechanisms that are typical for the plants of the continental masses that are connected, so it causes big problem in explaining it.

If a Killer whale is feeding at the fourth trophic level, how much phytoplankton mass is required to add each gram of new mass t
Ksivusya [100]
In order to add one gram of mass, the whale must consume a sufficient amount of energy. The energy transferred to the fourth trophic level is 0.1⁴ = 0.0001
We divide the mass to be gained by the energy obtained per unit mass, to find the total mass to be eaten:
1 / 0.0001 = 10,000 grams of phytoplankton must be consumed to add one gram of mass.

Why don’t magnets affect gamma rays as they pass over it?
daser333 [38]
We may apply Fleming's Left Hand Rule of Electromagnetism to determine how a charged particle behaves in a magnetic field. However, because the gamma rays do not have a charge on them, like alpha particles and beta particles do, they are not deflected.
Gamma rays are electromagnetic waves and its is a characteristic of electromagnetic waves that they have no charge.

How is data used to evaluate outcomes? Provide an example as it relates to an area of nursing.
Zielflug [23.3K]

Answer:

Data is used to evaluate the treatment that is provided to the patient in each episode of nursing diagnosis.

Explanation:

An outcome measure is a tool that is used to assess the current status of the patient that is influenced by the nursing interventions. It is marked by the status of the resolution for individual nursing diagnosis as being either resolved or not.

The data collected by outcome measures supports in establishing the foundation for providing the correct medical treatment to the patient. Which later helps to assess the treatment provided to the patient. It provides reliable and credible justification for the treatment on an individual patient level.

Below are a few examples of these outcome measures;

  • Mortality
  • Timeliness of care
  • Safety of care
  • Patient Experience
  • Effectiveness of care
