<h2>Answer:</h2>

The Slope is \frac{2}{3}\\

<h2>Explanation:</h2>

Notice that both the points, (0,20) and (20,50), are on the line. So we can use those points to calculate the slope. Recall that that slope of the line m can be calculated by \frac{y_2 -y_1}{x_2 -x_1}\\ if we have the points, (x_1,y_1) and (x_2,y_2).

<h3>Calculating for the slope of the line:</h3>

Given:

(0,20)

(20,50)

m = \frac{50 -20}{20 -0} \\ m = \frac{30}{20} \\ m = \frac{2}{3}

Find the coordinates of the center of the given circle
Yuliya22 [10]

Center of given circle is (h,k)= (5,-3)

Option A is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to find the coordinates of the center of the given circle: (x - 5)^2 + (y + 3)^2 = 25

The standard equation of circle is:

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

Where (h,k) is the center of circle and r is the radius of circle.

Now comparing the given equation with standard equation to find h and k

(x - 5)^2 + (y + 3)^2 = 25

Making it equivalent to standard equation:

(x -(5))^2 + (y-(-3))^2 = 25

By comparing, the value of h is 5 and k is -3

Hence center of given circle is (h,k)= (5,-3)

Option A is correct.

Which of the following best describes the equation below?
ivann1987 [24]

Answer:

B.

no real solutions

Step-by-step explanation:

2(x + 11) + 5x = 7x - 22

Distribute

2x+22 +5x = 7x -22

Combine like terms

7x +22 = 7x-22

Subtract 7x from each side

7x-7x+22 = 7x-7x-22

22 = -22

This is never true so there are no solutions

Khalid invested $9500 in a savings account with a yearly interest rate of 3% for 8 years. How much simple interest did he earn?
NemiM [27]
So simple interest, you don't compound anything, you will always add 3% from $9500 and it will not change. The equation will look like this:

9500*[1+(0.03*8)]
giving us 9500*1.24 = $11,780
