The most unique fact about the Russo-Japanese War was the victory of the East over the great powers of the West. The fact that a small nation like Japan can defeat a large Nation like Russia was astonishing.

This was a war of expansionism that took place between 1904- 1905. It was fought between Japan and Russia over the territorial affairs in the Far East. At last, Japan claimed the victory in the war and emerged as the major power.

War between Japan and Russia was known to be unique because it was the first time when an Asian power won against Eastern power. .

Further Explanation:-

The war which started between Russia and Japan in year 1905 was unique because that was the first time when an Asian country defeated an European Power in a war. Both of these countries came against each other because they wanted to take control over Korea and Manchuria.

It was the period of year 1898, When Russia pressurized China as it wanted China to grant them lease of a port which was strategically important and the name of that port was ‘Port Arthur’. Port Arthur was situated in southern part of Manchuria. Japan on the other hand who was also interested in this port and it also wanted to gain control over Korea and Manchuria and in order to do that, Japan launched Surprise attack on Russian Naval Squadron who was there in port Arthur.

In year 1904, Japanese army landed in Korea and quickly took over the country and in addition to that, Japanese army also landed in Liaodong Peninsula and that cut-off Port Arthur completely from Russian military forces which were there in Manchuria and all this aggressive tactics by Japan led to Russia going defensive and eventually losing the war.

dexar [7]

Answer:

The probability of getting tails and spinning on a red is \frac{3}{16}.

Explanation:

Since you can flip either heads or tails with the coin and there are 8 different spinner possibilities, that means there are a total of 16 individual possibilities. Out of the 16 different outcomes, 3 of them match the requirement of flipping tails and spinning on a red, so the fraction to represent the situation would be \frac{3}{16}.
