The central theme of the poem is how one should attain wisdom. In the end, the poet agrees with the wise man's views.

The focus of the poem is the wise man's advise regarding love, how to give it to a lover and the consequences after giving love from the heart. Though the poet listened to it, he/she decided not to pay attention but later, in older age, he/she agrees with the men's wisdom. The poem reflects how one should attain wisdom: by listening to wise people's advise.

Boris Pasternak was allowed to accept the Nobel prize for Doctor Zhivago when it was awarded.
Mama L [17]

The noble Peace Price for Literature is one of the five awards according to Alfred Nobel's will of 1895, which is awarded to individuals who have distinguished themselves in conferring the greatest benefit to mankind in the preceding year.

In 1958, Boris Pasternak was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. This award rubbed off the wrong way among members of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Pasternak refused to receive the award after initially accepting it because of the outcry from the leaders of his country.

However, in 1989 the award was received by his descendants on his behalf.

PLZ HELP The legend of King Arthur is well-known in literature. Based on Unsolved Mysteries of History, there is little to sugge
jarptica [38.1K]
Even though there is little evidence to prove the historical existance of King Arthur, I think it is important to learn about his legend and values of the time. First of all, Arthur's story gives us a hint of what England was like during the period before it was unified into one kingdom. In this way, we can learn about what life was like then and what principles were considered important. Secondly, I think there is still a lot to discover about his legend. As a result, the more we study it and do research, the closer we will be of finding more evidence regarding his life as a historical character.

(Hope this helps!!)
