Answer:

180 = 150m + c

177.25 mm

Step-by-step explanation:

L = mT + c

180 = m(150) + c

180 = 150m + c

c = 180 - 150m

181.5 = 210m + c

181.5 = 210m + 180 - 150m

1.5 = 60m

m = 0.025

c = 180 - 150(0.025)

c = 180 - 3.75

c = 176.25

L = 0.025T + 176.25

T = 40

L = 0.025(40) +176.25

L = 177.25 mn

Two garen plots are to have the same area. One is square and one is rectangular. The rectangular plot is 2 meters wide and 32 me
Brrunno [24]

Answer:

Length l = 8 m

The length of one side of the square is 8 m

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a rectangle is;

Area = length × breadth

Given;

Length = 32 m

Breadth = 2 m

Area of the rectangle can be expressed as;

A = 32 × 2 = 64 m^2

Area of a square is;

Area = length × length = l^2

Since the area of the square is equal to the area of the rectangle, then the area of the square is 64 m^2

A = l^2

64 = l^2

l = √64

l = 8 m

The length of one side of the square is 8 m

PLZ HELP ME >>>>>>THANKYOU
Aleonysh [2.5K]

Step-by-step explanation:

There are two commonly recognized beginner methods to solve a system of equations.  The first is elimination and the second is substitution.  I will go over both of them here.

Substitution:

y=-2x-9, y=-5x-21

-2x-9 = -5x -21

3x=-12

x=-4

y=-5(-4)-21

y=-1

Elimination:

This method is a bit hard to explain without visual aid, but I'll try my best :)

In elimination you can subtract each value with a common variable from its counterpart in the other equation.  For this example, subtract y-y to get 0, -2x - (-5x) to get 3x, and -9 - (-21) to get 12.

Thus,

-12=3x

x=-4

y=-5(-4)-21

y=-1

Hope it helps and lmk if you need more help <3 :D
