(7x+2)° = (9x–8)°

=>7x –9x = –8–2

=> –2x = –10

=> x = 10/2

=> x = 5

<ADB = (7x+2)°

= 7×5+2

= 37°

<BDC = (9x–8)°

= 9×5–8

= 45 –8

= 37°

<ADC = 37° + 37°

= 74°
