The first amendment is probably the most important amendment there is. The first amendment is so important because it protects every person's right of freedom of religion and freedom of expression. This means that every American can pick what religion they want to be a part of without being stopped by the government. If we did not have the first amendment, it could be possible that someone could get thrown in jail for speaking badly about president or by going to church.
