The correct answer is B) the division resulted from a peaceful separation.

The statement that explains why Czechoslovakia was divided into the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993 is "the division resulted from a peaceful separation.

It was so peaceful that is was called "the Velvet Divorce." Communist presence in Eastern Europe ended with the reformations of Russia's leader Mikail Gorbachev. In late 1989, Czechoslovakia had a series of protests called "Velvet Revolution." It took the country to have free elections in 1990. That is when Czechs and Slovaks had many differences. By January 1, 1993, two new countries were born the Czech Republic and Slovenia.

What was the Land Ordinance of 1787's view towards Native Americans?
solong [7]
The ordinance stated that Indians were to be treated with the "utmost good faith" and specified that "their lands and property shall never be taken away from them without their consent." As settlers pushed forward into occupied Indian territory, however, they received military protection. As governor of Indiana William Henry Harrison threatened, bribed and purposely intoxicated Indians. He was opposed by Tecumseh who began to organize an Indian Confederation. In 1811 and 1812 Harrison fought and defeated Tecumseh at the battle of Tippecanoe.
