Answer:  n = 1, n = -1/3

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

     (3n - 1)² = 12n + 8

9n² - 6n + 1 = 12n + 8

9n² - 18n - 7 = 0

Substitute -18n with 3n - 21n and find the common factor of each side:

9n² + 3n         -21n - 7  = 0

3n(<u>3n + 1</u>)       -3(<u>3n + 1</u>) = 0

   (3n - 3) (3n + 1)          = 0

Solve for each factor:

3n - 3 = 0                      3n + 1 = 0

3n       = 3                     3n       = -1

 n       = 1                        n       = -1/3

find the circumference of a circle that has an area of 452.16 square meters. (Use 3.1416 as the value of π.)
IceJOKER [234]
(1) circumference of a circle = 2π.R
(2) area of a circle = π.R²

Area = 452.16 m² (given), so we can calculate the radius:
452.16 = π.R²
452.16/π = R²

143.92 = R²  → R =√143.92 ≈ 12 m
Having R = 12, now we can calculate the circumference :

circumference of a circle = 2π.R = 2.π.12 = 75.41 m

What is a million times all the numbers in the world
kozerog [31]
Well, there isn’t really an end for numbers...

However; The biggest number referred to regularly is a googolplex (10googol), which works out as 1010^100. That isn’t the end to numbers but it is a huge one. We will replace that with ‘all the numbers in the world’.

106 is the exponent equivalent to 1 million

So your question would be:
106 x 1010^100 =

However I don’t believe there is a calculator that large.
