Explanation:

The lens is a transparent biconvex structure in the eyes that focuses light or refract light. The lens by changing shape through the help of ciliary muscles in the eyes, bending or flattening it focus light rays on the retina. The lens changing shape , change the focal distance of the eye so that it can focus on objects of varying distances which is refer to as accommodation , thus by allowing a sharp real image to be formed on the retina.
