A study that involves interviews of adults is eligible for expedited review. The researcher wants to add an adolescent populatio

n (aged 12 to 17) to the study and has designed a parental permission and assent process. No additional changes are planned. Which of the following statements about review of the revised protocol is accurate? The new research would need full review by a convened IRB because children are a protected population. The research would only be eligible for expedited review if the adolescents have been declared to be emancipated minors. The research would only be eligible for expedited review if the adolescents are capable of understanding the same consent forms used for the adult population. Unless the nature of the questions would raise the level of risk to more than minimal for adolescents, the research would still qualify for expedited review.

Answer: Unless the nature of the questions would raise the level of risk to more than minimal for adolescents, the research would still qualify for expedited review.

Explanation:

The review of a research proposal can be exempt for review, have an expedited review or a full review.

Expedited reviews are carried out at a meeting organized by the president of the association conducting the investigation. It is done whenever a minimum change is made to a previous research proposal and that this new proposal involves minors and vulnerable populations. It is also analyzed if it is standardized for the new group to be evaluated and does not contain content without ethics.

How ads try to appeal our sentiments? Plz Explain
kiruha [24]

Answer:

Egos, Logos, and Pathos. These are Aristotle's three "modes for persuasion". In order to sell your product you have to hit all these "modes" to persuade the customer to buy.

Explanation:

Those are the things industries try to target. Egos refers to your ethics. It gives the audience the proof they need to know you actually know what you're talking about. Logos appeals to "logic". This one hits the logic of the person you are showing your ads to. If you have an illogical person looking at your product, then they won't see the benefits of the product and they won't see past the sales pitch. Finally, Pathos. Pathos means it is going for your emotions such as showing an ad for homeless or abused domestic pets.

Hope this helped, have a great day/night!

_____________________, commonly known as sea squirts, have a larval stage that resembles a chordate.
Vladimir [108]

Tunicates, commonly known as sea squirts, have a larval stage that resembles a chordate.

Ascidians, commonly known as sea squirts, sea squirts, and sea squirts, are a polyphyletic class in the subphylum Tunicate subphylum of filter-feeders of sac-like marine invertebrates. The sea squirt is characterized by a tough outer "tunic" made of polysaccharides.

These animals are highly acquired and few Americans like to eat them. Additionally, many sea squirts are poisonous, and although this provides built-in protection against predators, they cannot be used as a food source for humans.
