Primary group can be defined basically as a small social group whose members share close, personal, intimate relationships. These groups are marked by members's concern for one another, in shared activities and culture. Examples of primary group are family, childhood friends etc.

of Bronfenbrenner's ecological systems theory. The mesosystem consists of
interactions between two microsystems. Like microsystems, mesosystems affect
the child directly. That is, the child is actively able to engage and socialize
with others in the mesosystem.
