A line going through the points (-3, -10) with a slope m = 1/4.
vfiekz [6]

Step-by-step explanation:

(-3,5) and (x,y)

Slope = (y - 5)/[x - (-3)] = (y - 5)/(x + 3)

(y - 5)/(x + 3) = -1/4

y - 5 = -1/4(x + 3)

y - 5 = (-1/4)x - 3/4

y = (-1/4)x - 3/4 + 5

y = (-1/4)x + 17/4.
