How do authors harness the power of words in order to influence an audience?
Crank

Well, authors have not only words, but literary devices they can use to get their audiences to live vividly the story they are trying to share.

The literary devices are narrative techniques that add texture, energy and excitement to the narrative, grip the reader's imagination, and convey information.

Some of the most common literary devices are: allusion, diction, epigraph, euphemism, imagery, metaphors, etc.

All these are techniques that can be used to get deeper in the reader's interest, but, of course, there is something about the writer's talent to make the story, or whatever he or she is writing, interesting for others. In each decision they made about how to tell something, and the impact it has in the reader, they show their talent to share.
