The Suez canal is located in Egypt.

The Suez canal is  located in Egypt west of the Sinai Peninsula and connects Port Said  on the Mediterranean sea with the Port of Suez on the Red Sea.  It provides a direct root for transport of good between Europe and Asia.

The canal is 195 km (121 miles) long and 300 meters wide. It can accommodate large ships of up to  150,000 tons fully loaded. It takes only 15 hours on average for a ship to traverse the canal from start to end.

The British opposed its construction in late 1861. It was officially opened in November 17, 1869.

What forced Russia to discontinue fighting in World War I
den301095 [7]
The answer is C.

The Russian leaders were so clumsy and irresponsible. They poorly trained there troops and supplied so little that it caused the Russian army to become null and inoperative. Russian leaders had poor decision making, thus, destroying the trust of the troops. This led to the desertion of Russian troops and even the assassination of their own leaders. The soldiers even formed little groups that would not anymore follow orders but would decide by their own what to do during the war.

NeX [460]

The Council of Trent was exceedingly important for its clearing orders on self-reform and for its stubborn definitions that clarified essentially each convention challenged by the Protestants. Incited by the Reformation, it also has been portrayed as the encapsulation of the Counter-Reformation.

Please correct any mistakes in my answer!! I'd be happy to fix it!! :)
