The latent function is considering those functions who are not recognized or hidden, it is not intended by the involved people. They are unintentional and some latent functions are coming from the educational system which we can recognize.

  • Some of the latent function is sudden organizing when it is necessary or for example when it is raining outside in school while the ceremony is lasting.
  • There are other latent function, outside the school, for example like keeping the students of the street and bad decisions or creation of the generation gap.
  • We have also sorting as the latent function, we can see that in every school. The student is sorting based on potential or something else.
