Answer:

y=1/2x-3 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

use change in y over change in x to solve for the slope... -1+2/5-3=1/2

then use point slope form with the slope to simplify for the slope intercept form... either point works, i used (3,-2)

y+2=1/2(x-3)

y+2=1/2x-3/2

y=1/2x-3/2-2

y=1/2x-3 1/2

Can someone please help me identify the bases and the height of this trapezoid on problem 1? Thank you!
IRISSAK [1]
1. (The base on top is 15 ft.
To find the base on the bottom you have to first find the length of the right side of the triangle. 7 - 4 = 3. Then, square both sides of the triangle and add them together. 15^2 + 3^2 = 234
Next take 234 and find its square root = 15.3. The bases of the trapezoid are 15 and 15.3)
2. (Both bases and the height.)
3. (2l + 2w does not belong, all of the equations are formulas for area but that one is perimeter)

2. absolute value is resembled using the formula : |x|

Here,

\hookrightarrow \sf |\dfrac{-3}{11} |

\hookrightarrow \sf \dfrac{3}{11}

final answer: 3/11

3.

\hookrightarrow \sf \dfrac{1}{2} \div \dfrac{3}{5}

\hookrightarrow \sf \dfrac{1}{2} * \dfrac{5}{3}
